A.G. Chancellor III
PresidentA.G. Chancellor III is a Senior Litigation Attorney at The Law Offices of Fishman and Cabrera in Melville, Long Island, with nearly three decades of experience in litigation and insurance defense. He focuses on defending condominiums, cooperatives, homeowners’ associations, nonprofits, and real estate matters across federal, state, and New York human rights venues. He has handled a broad range of cases, including general liability, construction, discrimination, and professional malpractice, with extensive trial, mediation, and appellate experience. In addition to his legal career, he has faithfully served as Senior Pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Medford, New York, for 20 years.
Christina Hires
Vice PresidentChristina Hires has worked for a non profit serving low income families for the last 14 yrs. Mrs. Hires is also the founder and president of Anthony G's Angels Inc, a nonprofit that helps families through infant loss. Christina feels that through all organizations she is able to be of service to families and children in need.
Melinda Andrews
Melinda Andrews is a retired Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) repairman, having served as Supervised of the FAA Repair Station. I was the FAA Chief Inspector and Liaison for the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) providing airworthiness certifications for Aircraft parts for over 30 plus years. Since my retirement, I have accelerated my efforts to assist members of my community in many ways, using both my expertise and experiences.

Jan L. Ferguson
Committee ChairpersonJan Ferguson is an Accounting and Human Resources Administrator with over 25 years experience in the construction, real estate and manufacturing industries. She is passionate about giving back and supporting efforts that strengthen communities and is proud to contribute her financial expertise in support of the organization’s mission. Jan believes that access to opportunity and support can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives and is honored to be a part of work that helps families and communities thrive.
Cynthia Quinlan
SecretaryCynthia Quinlan is a retired Special Education Director. She has always been an advocate for those in need. Ms. Quinlan is also the founder of Powered to Thrive by L.U.N.A., Inc, a nonprofit that empowers girls and women to be their greatest possibility. She also enjoys teaching mindfulness strategies/practices to all. In retirement, she continues to be an education consultant and volunteer for events/programs within her community.
